🎁 What is OFF259?

OFF259 is a promo code that gives eligible CardUp personal users a reduced fee of 2.59% for qualifying personal payments using Singapore issued Mastercard or eligible American Express cards.

👤 Who can use this promo?

You can use this promo if:

  • You are a CardUp personal account holder

  • You pay with a Singapore issued Mastercard or eligible Amex card

  • Your payment is for an eligible personal payment category only

  • Your payment is scheduled on or before 31 January 2027, 6pm (SGT) with payment due on or before 4 February 2027.

🧾 How do I apply the promo code?

  • Click "Create Payment" and select an eligible personal payment category

  • Add a new recipient or select one from the prepopulated list

  • Enter your payment amount on the “Amount” page

  • Enter OFF259 in the “Promo or Referral Code” field

  • Proceed to the Review page to confirm your payment

Note: The fee summary table shows the standard fee based on your selected card type (2.9% for Singapore-issued cards or 3.3% for international-issued cards) and does not reflect promo discounts.

🔁 Can I use it more than once?

Yes, you can use OFF259 multiple times as long as each payment meets the eligibility criteria.

🚫 When won’t the promo apply?

This promo won’t apply for:

  • Business payment categories

  • Amex non-supported / ineligible personal payment categories

  • Payments set up after the promo period (31 January 2027, 6pm SGT)

  • Payments due after 4 February 2027

  • Visa, debit, prepaid, or foreign-issued cards

  • Foreign currency payments

  • Combined use with other promos or discounts

  • Next-day payment fees

✍️ Do I need to enter the code?

Yes, OFF259 must be entered manually during payment setup for the discount to apply.

❓ What happens if I forget to enter the promo code?

The promo code must be entered during payment setup for the discount to apply. Once a payment has been submitted, the promo code cannot be applied retrospectively.

Depending on the status of your payment, payment types and promo code t&C, you may need to:

  • cancel the payment and submit a new payment request with the promo code applied; or

  • edit the payment and apply the promo code to each individual transaction before resubmitting.

⚠️ What error message will I receive if the promo code cannot be applied?

If your payment does not meet the promo eligibility criteria, you may see the following message:

"Sorry, you're not eligible to redeem this offer."

If you receive this message, please ensure that:

  • You are using an eligible card (Singapore-issued Mastercard or eligible Amex card)

  • Your payment falls under an eligible personal payment category

  • Your payment is scheduled within the promo period

  • The promo code has been entered correctly

  • Your payment meets all requirements stated in the promo Terms & Conditions
