๐ŸŽ What is RENT230?

RENT230 is a promo code that gives eligible CardUp personal users a reduced fee of 2.30% for qualifying rent payments (one-off or recurring).

๐Ÿ‘ค Who can use this promo?

You can use RENT230 if:

  • You have a CardUp Personal account

  • You are making a rent payment only

  • You pay with a Singapore-issued Visa or UnionPay card

  • Your payment is scheduled by 31 January 2027, 6pm SGT

  • Your payment due date is on or before 4 February 2027

๐Ÿงพ How do I apply the promo code?

  • Click on "Create Payment" and select a rent payment category

  • Add a new recipient or select one from the prepopulated list

  • You will be directed to the "Amount" page - enter your payment amount

  • Enter RENT230 in the "Promo or Referral Code" field

  • A fee summary will be shown on the Review page before you confirm your payment setup

  • Note: The fee summary reflects the base fee based on your selected card (Singapore-issued or international). It will not show the discounted fee, but the promo discount will still be applied upon confirmation.

๐Ÿ” Can I use it more than once?

Yes, RENT230 can be used

  • multiple times for eligible rent payments, as long as each payment meets the promo criteria.

  • the promo is valid for both one-off and recurring rent payments.

๐Ÿšซ When wonโ€™t the promo apply?

This promo wonโ€™t apply for:

  • Non-rent payment categories (personal or business payments)

  • Payments set up after the promo period (31 January 2027, 6pm SGT)

  • Payments due after 4 February 2027

  • Mastercard, American Express, debit/prepaid, or foreign-issued cards

  • Foreign currency payments

  • Combined use with other promotions or discounts

  • Next-day payment fees

โœ๏ธ Do I need to enter the code?

Yes, RENT230 must be entered manually during payment setup for the discount to apply.

โ“ What happens if I forget to enter the promo code?

The promo code must be entered during payment setup. Once a payment has been submitted, the promo cannot be applied retrospectively.

If needed, you may:

  • Cancel the payment and create a new recurring payment with the promo code applied; or

  • Edit the payment setup and reapply the promo code before resubmitting

โš ๏ธ What error message will I receive if the promo cannot be applied?

If your payment does not meet the eligibility criteria, you may see:

"Sorry, you're not eligible to redeem this offer."

If this appears, please ensure:

  • You are using an eligible Singapore-issued Visa or UnionPay card

  • The payment is within the rent payment category

  • The payment is scheduled within the promo period

  • The promo code is entered correctly

  • All eligibility requirements are met

๐ŸŽ Can RENT230 be combined with other promotions?

No. RENT230 cannot be used together with any other promotion, discount, or offer.
