🎁 What is REC235?
REC235 is a promo code that gives eligible CardUp personal users a reduced fee of 2.35% for qualifying recurring personal payments (weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly).
👤 Who can use this promo?
You can use REC235 if:
You have a CardUp Personal account
You are setting up a recurring payment only (no one-off payments)
You pay with a Singapore-issued Visa or UnionPay card
Your payment is for an eligible personal payment category
Your payment is scheduled by 31 January 2027, 6pm SGT
Your payment due date is on or before 4 February 2027
Total eligible recurring payments do not exceed S$20,000 per month (2.35% fee applies within limit; remaining amount will be charged at 2.9%)
💰 How does the S$20,000 monthly limit work?
The S$20,000 monthly limit applies only to recurring payments that use the REC235 promo code.
Only payments set up with REC235 will count towards the S$20,000 monthly limit
Payments without a promo code or using a different promo code will not be included in this limit
If REC235 recurring payments exceed S$20,000 in a month, the excess amount will be charged at the standard 2.9% fee
💡 Example
If in one month a user has:
S$15,000 recurring payments using REC235
S$10,000 recurring payments using a different promo code or no promo
👉 Only the S$15,000 under REC235 counts toward the S$20,000 limit
👉The remaining S$5,000 capacity is still available for other REC235 payments that month
🧾 How do I apply the promo code?
Click on "Create Payment" and select a recurring payment setup
Add a new recipient or select one from the prepopulated list
Enter your payment amount on the “Amount” page
Enter REC235 in the “Promo or Referral Code” field
Proceed to the Review page to confirm your payment
Note: The fee summary table shows the standard fee based on your selected card type (2.9% for Singapore-issued cards or 3.3% for international-issued cards) and does not reflect promo discounts.
🔁 Can I use it more than once?
Yes, REC235 can be used for
multiple recurring payments as long as each setup meets the eligibility criteria.
the promo is valid for recurring schedules such as weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly payments.
💰 What happens if I exceed the monthly offer limit?
REC235 applies a maximum of S$20,000 per month in eligible recurring payments.
Any amount above this limit will be charged at the standard 2.9% fee.
🚫 When won’t the promo apply?
This promo won’t apply for:
One-off payments
Business payment categories
Payments set up after the promo period (31 January 2027, 6pm SGT)
Payments due after 4 February 2027
Mastercard, American Express, debit/prepaid, or foreign-issued cards
Foreign currency payments
Combined use with other promotions or discounts
Next-day payment fees
✍️ Do I need to enter the code?
Yes, REC235 must be entered manually during payment setup for the discount to apply.
❓ What happens if I forget to enter the promo code?
The promo code must be entered during payment setup. Once a payment has been submitted, the promo cannot be applied retrospectively.

⚠️ What error message will I receive if the promo cannot be applied?
If your payment does not meet the eligibility criteria, you may see:
"Sorry, you're not eligible to redeem this offer."
If this appears, please ensure:
You are using an eligible Singapore-issued Visa or UnionPay card
The payment is set up as a recurring payment
The payment is within the promo period
The promo code is entered correctly
All eligibility requirements are met
🎁 Can REC235 be combined with other promotions?
No. REC235 cannot be used together with any other promotion, discount, or offer.

All payments are subject to review. We may request supporting documents to verify payment details. Providing accurate information helps avoid processing delays.
