Yes. You can still earn Max Miles from an eligible CardUp payment even if you don't have a HeyMax account at the time of payment.
How you receive your Max Miles depends on your account status:
If you already have a HeyMax account:
Your Max Miles will automatically be credited to the HeyMax account associated with the email address confirmed during your CardUp payment setup, based on the applicable crediting timeline.
If you don't have a HeyMax account:
Once your Max Miles are issued, HeyMax will send a reward notification email with a sign-up link to the email address you provided.You must create your HeyMax account using the same email address within 90-calendar days of receiving the email to claim your Max Miles.
Any Max Miles not claimed within this period will be forfeited.
Example: If you receive the HeyMax reward notification email on 10 September 2026, you must register using the same email address by 9 December 2026 to claim your Max Miles.
Tip: If you don't see the email in your main inbox, please check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.
Note: Once credited, your Max Miles are managed according to HeyMax's standard terms and policies.

When setting up an eligible PayNow payment, you will be asked to confirm the email address associated with the HeyMax account where you want to receive your Max Miles.

Once Max Miles have been successfully credited to your HeyMax account, they are managed according to HeyMax's applicable terms and policies.
Under HeyMax's current policy, credited Max Miles do not expire as long as your HeyMax account remains active. Please refer to HeyMax for the latest Max Miles validity and account activity requirements.
Note: This is separate from the 90-calendar days claim period for new HeyMax users. If you receive a reward notification from HeyMax, you must create your account using the same email address within the stated period to claim your Max Miles. Any unclaimed Max Miles will be forfeited after the claim period.
