Can the EDD form be completed on behalf of the director?
As a general requirement, the EDD form should be completed personally by the director. However, if the director is unable to do so, the form may be completed by an authorized representative on the director's behalf, provided that a valid Letter of Authorization (LOA) is submitted in advance.
The LOA must be signed by the director and clearly state the representative's authority to complete and submit the EDD information on the director's behalf.
