How do I update my mobile number on CardUp?

To update your mobile number,

  1. Log in to your CardUp account, go to Settings → Profile,

  2. Click Edit next to your mobile number, enter your new number,

  3. Verify it by entering the OTP sent to that number, and then save the changes.

  4. Your mobile number will now be used for account notifications and verification purposes.


What if I didn’t receive the OTP?
If you did not receive the OTP, first ensure that your mobile number is entered correctly and has strong network coverage. You can request a new OTP after a few minutes.

Can I use a mobile number that is already linked to another CardUp account?

You can use the same mobile number if you are registering one personal account and one business account. However, if the number has already been used for a personal account and you wish to create another personal account (or vice versa), it cannot be reused. In that case, you will need to either:

  1. Use a different mobile number for registration, or

  2. Contact our support team at [email protected] for guidance.

What should I do if I no longer have access to my old mobile number?

If you cannot access your old mobile number, please contact [email protected]. Our support team will guide you through securely updating your mobile number.
