To use CardUp Collect, your business must:
Be a Singapore-registered entity with ACRA
Have a valid UEN (Unique Entity Number)
Operate as a legitimate business in Singapore
Not fall under restricted or prohibited business categories
Comply with CardUp’s onboarding and compliance requirements
👥 Eligible business owners & users
You can sign up if you are:
✔️ A business owner managing your own company
✔️ An authorised employee acting on behalf of the business
✔️ A finance or operations representative responsible for payments and invoicing
👉 CardUp Collect is strictly for business-to-customer (B2C) or business-to-business (B2B) transactions only. It cannot be used for personal payments.
🏢 Business registration requirements (Singapore)
Your business must be:
✔️ Registered with ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority)
✔️ Assigned a valid UEN (Unique Entity Number)
✔️ Operating as an active and legitimate business entity in Singapore
Eligible business structures include:
Private Limited Companies (Pte Ltd)
Sole Proprietorships (registered in Singapore)
Partnerships
Other ACRA-recognised entities
🏦 Bank account requirement
To receive payouts, your business must have:
✔️ A corporate bank account in Singapore
✔️ Bank details that match your registered business entity
All collected funds are settled directly into this account.
🚫 Restricted businesses
Some industries may not be eligible to use CardUp Collect for credit card payments.
Eligibility is determined based on:
Card network rules (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, AMEX)
Regulatory requirements
CardUp’s internal risk and compliance policies
All applications involving higher-risk or restricted categories are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and additional documentation may be required before approval.
