How to set up an Electricity Payment ?
Follow these article to create a payment on CardUp: How do I set up a payment?
The payment setup process depends on your electricity provider.
A. Paying Senoko Energy
If you're paying Senoko Energy, CardUp can make a direct fund transfer using the official bank account available in our system.
When setting up your payment, please ensure you provide a clear payment reference so that Senoko Energy can reconcile your payment. Your payment reference should include:
Account number
Account holder's name
Unit number (if applicable)
B. Paying other electricity providers
For all other electricity providers, you'll need to enter the recipient's bank account details exactly as shown on your invoice.
If your provider does not provide its bank account details and you're unable to obtain them from the provider's official channels, you'll need to set up a GIRO arrangement directly with your bank.
Once your GIRO arrangement is active, CardUp can support a payment to your own bank account to help fund the GIRO deduction.
What documents do I need to upload when making an Electricity payment?
Valid electricity bill statement with the bank account details included
Supporting document with bank account details if not stated on the bill statement
If you're using the GIRO funding option, please upload the required supporting documents for GIRO payments when setting up your payment. Refer to the Required Documents section for the complete list of acceptable documents.
