Setting up a payment is quick and can be done in a few simple steps.
Step 1:
Log in and click “+ Create Payment” at the top right to get started.
Step 2:
Select your payment type from the available options: domestic or international.
Domestic payments are for local recipients, while
International payments are for overseas recipients.
Step 3:
Select or add a recipient
In the recipient directory, you can choose one of the following options:
a. Pay an existing (verified) recipient
Search for the recipient name in the search bar and select from the list.
Make sure the recipient name and bank account details are correct before proceeding.
b. Add a new recipient
If the recipient is not listed, click “+ Add new recipient” and enter their details.
Make sure they match your supporting documents (such as an invoice, agreement, or contract) used to verify the payment.
Step 4:
At this stage, you can
enter the payment amount
add your credit card,
choose your preferred payment plan,
set the payment frequency,
apply any available promo code, and
add a payment reference.
Step 5:
Upload supporting documents that match your payment needs (such as an invoice, agreement, or statement) and click "Continue".
These documents must include the required details, such as but not limited to
payor name,
payment amount,
recipient details (including UEN and bank account information),
purpose of payment.
File requirement: Documents must not exceed 10MB.
Step 6:
Review your payment details, including the amount, due date, and promo code, to ensure everything is correct.
You’ll receive an SMS OTP to verify your payment. A S$0.50 charge will be made to your card and automatically refunded within a few days.
By clicking “Confirm Payment Setup”, you agree that payments are non-refundable by CardUp (as per the Terms of Service). You can still edit or cancel your payment from your dashboard before the charge date.
Step 7
Your payment has been created successfully. Click “Back to Payments” to return to your dashboard, where it will appear under the “Upcoming” tab.
