At this time, CardUp does not offer a dedicated “Split Payment” feature that allows you to divide a single transaction into multiple card charges automatically.
Each payment created on CardUp is processed as a single transaction charged to one credit card only.
If you wish to use multiple cards for one invoice, you may do so by creating separate payment requests, each covering a portion of the total amount. This allows you to manage payment limits or optimise rewards across different cards.
Remarks: that American Express (AMEX) cards do not support payment splitting. Payments made using AMEX credit card must cover the full invoice amount in one transaction as AMEX does not permit dividing a single payment across multiple cards or partial charges.
